Becoming a Life Mate

Loving and being loved is just the beginning. A marriage between two people, between two souls, can open a journey and exploration that can easily last a lifetime... and beyond. When asked by a young relative how she was supposed to know when she found her Life Mate, I thought about my life... my loves... my Life Mate... and I tried to find a few simple but hopefully profound touchstones that could help her navigate her search. This is what I found... not my words, definitely my sentiments:
